Simon was born in England in 1970. He graduated from Carmel College in 1988 and Manchester University in 1991, after receiving his LLB Law (Hons) degree. Simon then spent three years studying in Yeshivat Har Etzion, Israel (1991-1994), during which time he also served in an artillery combat unit in the IDF. Simon qualified as a UK Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1997, after obtaining his postgraduate legal practice diploma and serving his two-year internship period as trainee solicitor with the London Borough of Redbridge (LBR) Legal Department (click here for more on Simon’s public sector experience in letter of reference from the Chief Legal Officer of LBR).

Following his Aliyah to Israel, Simon qualified as an Israeli Advocate in 1999. Since that time, Simon has worked in Israel in the following three main capacities:

Israeli Advocate (specializing in the fields of civil and commercial law, real estate, wills and successions, and general legal advice).

Professional Translator (Hebrew-English and English-Hebrew translations, mainly of documents with a legal, commercial, medical, economic or Judaic content).

Israeli Notary (providing a comprehensive range of notary services, from notarized signature authentications to notarized wills and translations). Personal Profile: Simon is married to Elana, a pediatric nurse registered in the US and Israel. They have five wonderful children and live in Gush Etzion, Israel. Simon works mostly from his home in Gush Etzion, enabling him to reduce both his overheads and the ultimate cost of his professional services provided to clients. Simon’s clients include a prominent Israeli non-profit organization, “Torah MiTzion – Religious Zionist Kollels (R.A.),” to which he serves as legal counsel on a variety of issues of law and practice, both within Israel and globally.
